Program name and the lines it covers
The program is Ringdown Appointment Confirmations. It covers two kinds of line, both answered by a Ringdown AI receptionist and both operated by BCK Systems: the phone lines of businesses that subscribe to Ringdown, and Ringdown’s own public demonstration line. The opt-in is the same on both, because it is the same receptionist asking: you call, you book, and the receptionist asks whether you want text updates about that booking.Call the line and hear the opt-in
The demonstration line is public and live at
(760) 565-0295. It answers for Chuckwalla Electric, a fictional electrical shop we invented so anyone can experience the product the way a real caller would. Nothing real gets scheduled and no crew shows up. Book a simulated appointment, say yes when the receptionist offers to text you, and give her your mobile number: you will receive exactly
one message confirming that booking. On the demonstration line that one message is the whole of it: nothing recurring, nothing promotional, and no second text unless you book again.

What messages we send
Ringdown sends transactional text messages on behalf of the business you called: appointment confirmations, appointment reminders and changes, a notice when the technician or driver is on the way, and follow-up details you asked for during your call (like an address or arrival window). We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and your number is never sold or shared for advertising. How you opt in
You opt in by providing your phone number during a call and agreeing to receive a confirmation or follow-up by text, for example, when Ringdown offers to text your appointment details and you say yes. Consent applies only to the business you called and only to messages about your request. The receptionist reads your number back to you before using it, and tells you what you will receive about the booking before you agree, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to opt out. Your agreement is spoken on a call that is recorded and transcribed, which is how we keep the record of it. There is no other way onto this list: we never import, buy, rent or otherwise collect numbers from any source other than the caller giving us their own number on the call, and we never text a number whose owner did not ask us to.Frequency, rates, and opting out
Message frequency varies with your appointments, typically two to four texts per booking. Message and data rates may apply per your carrier plan. Reply
